With mental health issues in teenage girls at an all-time high, it’s important to invest in preventative programs to reduce the likelihood of mental ill-health occurring. This school-based mental health prevention and social connection program run by Flourish Girl is specifically tailored for girls and gender-diverse teens.
The workshops are designed to build resilience and teach the skills required to navigate the critical journey to adulthood whilst at school. Taking a preventative approach to mental ill-health, the program’s key learning outcomes are building self-confidence, self-awareness and social connectedness within their school communities & key relationships.
This project is an investment in the people and resources required to train the facilitators to deliver these highly impactful school workshops, and build a scalable and sustainable model to engage teens both face to face and digitally across Australia.
